Bombing the box
The federal government will announce at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday an investment in Bombardier Aerospace.
A news conference has been scheduled at Bombardier headquarters in Dorval, with federal industry minister Navdeep Bains in attendance.
According to Radio-Canada, the investment will be a $372-million loan, split between the Global 7000 series and the CSeries.
The company had requested $1 billion from the federal government, and received a similar amount (in U.S. dollars) from the Quebec government.
