So that is two weeks of Veganuary over! It has been another interesting week with more new foods, delicious recipes and naturally a recipe we would like to forget about…

I had a delicious brunch cooked for me today. Linda McCartney vegetarian (and suitable for vegans) sausages, hash browns (brilliant discovery!), baked beans and mushrooms. I was really impressed with the sausages because the flavour and texture was actually pretty good. Saturday is usually cheat day for us and this felt like a real treat!More treats followed this afternoon. Our favourite chocolately treats are brownies so we googled a vegan recipe and gave that a go.

We didn’t have a cake tin so we used muffin cases to make them. They ended up as a brownie-cupcake hybrid but they were still delicious! They were so soft and light and the cocoa powder gave them a really rich…
